Sorry for the non-Guzzi content, but, there are a fair number here that are fans of other Italian motorcycles as well.

I have a 1966 250 Monza that is missing the nut that holds the countersprocket on the output shaft of the transmission.

It is an M16 with a 1.0mm pitch thread.      I tried the usual suspects, McMaster-Carr, MSC Industrial, Bolt Depot, etc.     1.5mm seems to be the finest thread any of them have on an M16.

Does anyone here have any idea where I can source this nut?

Thank you both for the suggestions.   I had actually found that ebay one right after my post.
A previous search of eBay yielded nothing.

The Amazon link in the first reply is a 1.5mm pitch nut.

Now I wait for the ebay nut to arrive.

I've had good luck finding nuts and bolts I couldn't find anywhere else at NAPA auto parts.

I'm blessed by having a large, old, inner-city-type hardware store nearby that stocks a pretty extensive line of metric bolts, nuts, etc., primarily in stainless and black steel, but also some chrome plated steel.  However, whenever I've needed something that the store doesn't stock, Bolt Depot has never failed me.  https://www.boltdepot.com/Default.aspx

Bolt Depot was the first place I tried.    They have regular course (M16x2.0mm) and fine (M16x1.5mm).   M16x1.0mm, is special.

Luckily, as you pointed out in your previous post, there is a Husqvarna clutch nut that will fit.   I have one on order.
