I think your review was a bit kind.  The video quality is quite poor.

It is definitely poor, but.... it's $40. And this is two years old. Two years ago, I don't know if you would have been able to find much better for that price. Today, for about $80-100, you can do MUCH better. It's really about how the absolute cheapest camera actually performs...
