Dave,

The best part of this in MY opinion is the means of getting together at rallies and meeting good old boys like yourself and the humor some of us are able to throw in from time to time. I'd like to see more.

Yes, getting out riding and actually meeting people is part of the Guzzi experience.  If you don't do it you're missing out.  Rallies are very relaxing.

Agree completely that rallys are an integral part of the Guzzi experience.  I make several a year and have promised myself to make more.

LD were not that far away, since we're both retired we should be able to work out a lunch ocassionally.  Maybe Paul would join us.  Gilhoolies in San Leon serves some kickin seafood.

That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

Galveston Dave,

You mean this place?

My schedule gets miraculously unlocked after 7/18 when the Alz clinic closes.  Have to run Ms. LD to airport later that week.

So....let's see if we can work out lunch sometime.  Paul, would love to see you.

Saturday the 23rd works best for me.  How about 11 lunch so as to beat some heat?

Let me know, I have flexibility.

Rodger that, see you then!

I think oyster season is long passed though.

Need to determine an interesting route from Sugar Land...and home

Just FYI...I don't eat seafood other than fish, so hopefully they've got other goodies there.  If it's a purely seafood place...I'll pass this time around and you guys can get drunk on oysters and all that other disgusting bottom feeding crustaceans!

Interesting would be a tough way to describe the route...maybe a detour thru San Luis Pass and up Galveston island to enjoy the seabreeze and then up to Gilholelyehyoohesh. ..how the hell do you write that name anyway!   Hwy 6 is just stoplight hell...hardly worth it...

Health food place then ? I have never understood the concept of chicken fried steak , analogous to fried green tomatoes , someone was desperate for something to eat .

Before I go to eat there I want to know.
1. Can I see the latest health report.
2. Do they have gluton free food.
3. Can I get a complete recipe so I know how much salt, etc is in the dish.
4. Do they have organic meals.
5. Do all the workers have health cards.
6. What kind of reviews does this place have.

Or maybe I'm so scared I'll stay home and have tofu and organic bean sprouts.

Tex
