If you had stayed on 12 west of Yakima you could have experienced the annual Deep Forest campout on the north side of Mt. St. Helens.  A very unique Guzzi gathering after the National.

When she is thru working 12 hour shifts will ask her if she can give the details of time, bikes, etc.

For a fact she rode the V-7 to the National in NH, Iowa, Canada and John Day. The V-7 will sho nuff take you wherever you want to go.

Maybe food for thought for another journey out west, but if you're in BC Canada, About 3/4 of the way from Prince George to Prince Rupert you can take Hwy37 North into Hyder Alaska - beware of being "Hyderized"! Awesome roads in that part of BC and Hyder, well that's a whole surreal experience.

Yep, contrary to what many think, a V7 is plenty of bike for long distance rides.  BTDT, but not as much as Beaver !      Ridden on a 750 2up thru many western states too.

Thanks for all your "congratulations" and praises.  I didn't start out with a goal of riding through all the states.  It just kinda happened after I started riding to Moto Guzzi rallies all over the United States.  Six years ago, Tex and I rode to the National Rally in Oregon. We toured most of the western states then.  That trip lasted almost 2 weeks, including the time spent at the rally.  When I went to Randy Tefft's first New Hampshire State Rally by myself, I decided to do a tour of all the eastern states.  It took almost 2 weeks and almost 6,000 miles to go through 25 states.  I had a plan to see or do something special in each state, but locals came up to me in several states and suggested good rides too.  I've been to Alaska and Hawaii, but never on a motorcycle.  I don't know if I'll make it back to either, but maybe!  I've stayed off Interstates unless that was the only possible road and stayed on secondary roads and even gravel and dirt roads.  You see more going through towns and can talk to more people.

Which bike?

I started going to Guzzi rallies in 2009.  I've been on a Jackal, an 1100 Breva, 750 Breva, and 750 Stone.  The little ones toured as good as the big ones!

I think I have about 15 more Texas counties to tour, most in West Texas, and yes, Houston is still on my list.  I'm going to finish this year, hopefully. Rescued animals, grandbabies, fires, floods, and tornadoes have slowed me down!

Oh, wait, did I misunderstand Turnip. Are you saying that the 48 states are on the conglomerate of those 4 Guzzis, not all on one? Not that it matters much, I'm just curious if a 750 Stone has been in all 48 or not.

EDIT - I also find it funny that I too started Guzzi ownership on a Jackal, then bought a B11, and now have a V7 Stone.  :boozing:
