I would love to build one of these model kits:

We used to live in Tunis (ancient Carthage) right by the Carthaginian naval base. It was enormous and could dock over 50 of these ships at one time. It was also a military naval base.
Not sure if my eyes can focus on the small parts. Difficulty could be way over my head. But, I may give it a shot.
Can you hear the Horator? Attack speed....pounding out his rhythms. Imagine the commander giving directions, and the ship at full sail crossing the blue Mediterranean on some trading mission...always wondered what they fed the galley slaves. Must have been lots of calories.
