4.1k is 70mph in 6th gear and I will get 36-38mpg in that range with the stock map (rollered '11 8V).  At 5k you are north of 90mph but I couldn't tell you what the mpg because I haven't stayed up there for a whole tank.  The bike is a naked hooligan and not really a highway burner...

I have a 2013 with a GT-Rx exhaust & fuel mods.

A few weeks ago on a 300 mile day hitting trip digits I was getting 35 to 40 running mid grade fuel.

A lot of it was varied riding mostly back country farm roads with a good amount of curves & straights but also a lot of slow riding thru small populated areas.

I do pencil & paper when checking gas mileage because most on board computers are sweet by about 5 mpg.

Exactly.  Cruise is 4 and the fun starts at 5.  The only thing I don't like about the bike is the rev limiter hits hard at 8k...

Raise it. Mark has his at 9, mine's at 8.5 but I rarely take it over eight.

I want to know where you can go 90-100 mph all day!  Last time I did that was Nuremberg to Rome in the 70's... on a water buffalo, with Evelyn Katraba on the back, and frankly, I didn't give a damn about the gas mileage! I miss the 70's....

Wait a minute.  You're wanting to drive 90-100 on the slab but you're concerned about gas mileage?  I mean, a modern CB500 will top out at 110 but net you around 50mpg if that's what you're after.
