'14 Stone taillight on a '11 classic
« on: August 12, 2016, 10:15:40 AM »
Is the whole taillight assembly from a 2014 Stone the same as the one used on a 2011 V7 Classic? I believe the part number for the '14 stone is 883479. A couple bolts vibrated loose from the luggage rack on my 2011 Classic and cracked the plastic taillight housing. Thanks in advance.

I'd think so.  I have a '14 Special, and previously had an '09 Classic.   They look the same to me.

Just changed the rear light housing and it was exactly the same fit.

I believe the assembly is the same. but for the indicator stalks - flexible rubber bases on the new ones - a definite improvement, tend not break as easily. The old indicators would break at the bolt hole with a bit of a nudge. Plastic.
