I'd keep the 16" wheels on it. Wanted a set for my bike. They look cool!! Not the best if you want a canyon racer, but great for a city and highway cruiser!

In the mid to late '70s there was a machine shop in Sacramento called "Modern Machine" that maintained highway patrol bikes. They went to production machine work after Guzzi lost the contract to Kawasaki. I wonder if they still have "stuff" in the attic or if it's all gone now. If Hall-Burdette Norton Moto Guzzi Triumph ,Sacramento, is still in business, they had some police stuff there too.

That was a long time ago now, and unfortunately, neither outfit is still in business...
Thor Berke and Mike McDonald are still around, Steve Payne left this world way too early, about 18 months ago.

Thanks mrrick, it was a while back! I used to drag Norton alternator rotors back from England for Hall Burdette when I was in the military.
