Shake down ride this morning on..."The Yellow Horse"
« on: September 01, 2016, 11:57:43 AM »
Rode it about 25+ miles, and it ran great in the cooler mountain temperatures. :thumb: :1:

Getting all the necessary upgrades (I have all the parts now...) installed by Guzzi / Ducati master wrench, Tom Hull Sept. 8th.  It is just a BLAST to ride fast through the twisties.  :thumb:

Such great brakes / handling!  More riding planned when it is all sorted.

Tom's son is a darn good wrench, too.
He put a Kia or similar turbo on his Ducati 😀

89A is a great road!

Hi Chuck - Well, YES, when "sport-riding" and solo. :thumb:  :1:  Moby Dick is really my two-up bike, when my wife goes riding with me.

The V10, fuel-injected, 95HP Centauro is an entirely different Guzzi than my ol '83 850 Le Mans-III, and I like it better, frankly.

Yes, Tom is an excellent and experienced Ducati / Guzzi mechanic and works out of his house now.  He has now "upgraded" 4-5 of the 4-valve Guzzi's (Daytona's, Centauro's and MAGNI's) in the Valley, and mine is the last one.  I'll file a report later...

89A and 179 and many of the roads around VORTEX land are great! :thumb: :1:

Thanks Dusty!  Here's another beauty!

When I asked one of the crusty, local bartenders at the Olde  89A Sedona Bar & Grille about aura photos, crystals, chakkra cleansing, ear coning, vortexes, and all that other mystic stuff he told me:

"Since the 80's, I never met so many God damn people who have claimed to have met Cleopatra and her court!!"
