Breva 1100 Front main seal installation questions

I read the posts concerning how to remove and replace the front seal that fits into the timing cover. My question is this. How much oil, if any, should I drain before removing the seal? Also, what is the torque value for the crank nut? Lastly, did you lube the seal and with what?

You don't have to drain any oil from the motor, it is all well below the level of the crank. I believe the torque for the pulley nut is 150 newton meters, which is about 110 foot pounds. A little bit of lubrication is a good thing. My preferred assembly lube is Lubriplate. But if you don't have any just dab some motor oil on the seal before you slide it in.
I am hoping some one might chime in and confirm the torque spec.

Thanks.
What did you use to clean the area and was any sanding/polishing needed?
