I miss that, but this is the season I catch up with it -- I'll be back in Minnesota in about 10 days and cruising the countryside right on time.

Up here it's a little different -- trees turn from green to white.  The snow is marching down the mountainsides for the beach.  We use that as a measure of winter.  Both arrive at sea level at the same time.  No white = no winter.  That happens, too.

Wet snow for the past two days, not a great forecast for the next 14 days. I drained the gas out of my bikes, cleaned them and parked them for the winter, winter has come far too early this year.

Sorry about the too early season up there. I suspect us folks way down here in Pennsylvania are also in for an early/hard winter. I'm already pulling out the long-underwear and that stuff can normally can stay packed until Halloween.

I would like to get in an ride to Niagara Falls this year but it might have to wait for spring.
