New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
It's a joke! The speedometer is reading too fast vs the rpm. Ok, what is throwing it off? I just put the wheels with new brake rotors on today after making the rims tubeless.I fixed it, just wondering who can guess what it was!JB

I mixed up two of the bolts with the front wheel rotor bolts. Front bolts have a recess in the center and the rears are standard so the recessed ones were sending double pulses showing an increase in speed.JB
ratguzzi, since you had your brake discs off, maybe you can answer a question I'm curious about. The parts manuals show a part, number GU32636160, called a "rubber support part", that goes under the brake disc on the rear wheel hub. This is NOT the cush rubbers that go on the other side of the wheel. I believe that there are supposed to be 6 of them under the disc, rather than 1 as the manual indicates, and that they serve as anti-squeal dampers. Also, I think they are only used on the spoked rear wheels, and not on the cast alloy ones, despite what the parts manuals indicate. The cast alloy rear wheel on my '16 Stone does not have this rubber part(s) under the disc. Can you provide any info or insight? Thanks, Sam
