I keep toying with the idea for a replacement seat for my V7II,but after 2000 miles the stock seat seems to be breaking in. I'll not be doing any more long runs till the spring, so I can defer the decision for a while.

Great looking seat.  Post a picture of it on your bike when you get if you will.  I bought this one....like it a lot but like yours even better!

Looks great, love the brown (mine is darker brown but does not show well in these photos), but it does not look any wider in the butt contact area to offer better support to the hips.  Was it widened or flattened at all?  I had mine widened from the stock 9-inches (9" before turning vertical down the side of the seat) to 13" wide, and flatter left to right.  14-15" would have been even better, but the pan was just too narrow.

In these photos, the front couple rolls of the upholstery are the same width as the entire stock seat.  The hump between rider and passenger was mostly infilled and I can get some fore/aft movement in this new wider zone that was not possible on the stock seat.  A cafe seat bump would be nice for high speeds, like on the Corbin.





I still want to try the Corbin for the V7 bikes, their site shows 13" wide as well.  Maybe it will be my winter purchase.

I actually spoke with your guy.  Really nice seat/work he did.  In the end, for me, it was easier and less $$ to buy all-done.  New Guzzi Pan included so now I can sell my old or do another custom something with it.  The brown panels with these bikes look really nice.  My seat is actually slightly narrower than stock rather than wider.  I am only 5'10" and under 160 so it works well for me.

Those look great...thinking about sending him my Corbin for the Norgin to plump it up a bit...looks like he does superb work.

Some pics with the seat installed. Pleased with it. I also had Jon make me a simple pillion seat for my looper. He has a flexible metal pan on the bottom and I had him embed some powerful rare earth magnets that hold it snugly to the fender. Easy on and off.

Just a short ride today, about 30 miles. Feels similar to stock which worked really well for me any way.

Air filters are basic Emgo filters that come chrome.
Here's a pic of the magnets I used in the seat. Will hold each other through my forearm.
