Sp disassembled for $500, only thre to four thousand for the small parts...sigh, once more into the breach, why can't I stop myself? If I was smart I'd make it yard art on the front porch..

Your SP is going to be a looker!

You can either spend thousands on a brand new bike, ride and enjoy it for what it is or rebuild a classic for the same amount of $$ and really develop an appreciation and connection to the machine, plus ride and enjoy it, and you saved another Guzzi from the scrap heap. :bow:

I have a little bit of the same disease. If it's a good looking G5 part, I feel this need to have it. Not sure what I'm planning on doing, but It's probably going to be another G5 from parts...

Those look pretty nice. Good score I'd say!

I have more confidence running down the road on an old tonti than the new machines. Less parts to fail and I probably know what's happening if something does fail.
