The happy Thanksgiving merged Thread
« on: November 19, 2016, 07:36:42 AM »
Greeting from the Texas Coast,

Just a short blurb to say I'm  thankful for those that participate, monitor and run this forum.

Despite the cruelty culture that runs rampant on the Internet, we (mostly) manage to avoid the mean-spirited criticisms and bullying that characterizes many forums.  Although we are a diverse group spread across a wide geographical area, we have formed a virtual community held together by our common love of the quirky brand of motorcycle we ride. We unselfishly share our mechanical expertise and life lessons, sympathize and advise, and sometimes even disagree.

To all my Guzzi Brothers and Sisters, those that I've met and those that I have come to know through their posts, thanks.

Enjoy the Holiday Season and ride if the weather permits.

Dave
Galveston

Fixed it for ya.  I'm going to Flagstaff, AZ with my dirt-bike for the long weekend.  Anybody in the area with a dirt bike want to ride a little high desert with me?

Unmitigated risk aversion is the new Puritanism; complete with witch hunts funny outfits and humorless preachers thundering doom. The Deity is Safety; Satan is a Lawyer; but the object is the same: to suck the life out of life and tell you how to live it.

Yes, be grateful for all the little things in life...fresh running water out of the tap, a roof over one's head, a warm bed, a loving family and good friends, and food on the table... There are millions of people on this planet that will never experience these luxuries...

...and of course...a well sorted, smooth running Moto Guzzi...of any year or model! :thumb:
