Guzzi's vision?

My take is this. Aprilia makes sport bikes and a Caponard that is better than qthe Stelvio. Guzzi is going after the hipsters with the cruisers. Don't expect anything aggressive or fast as Aprilia has that part covered. Instead think Harley killer as they have the cruiser or sportster covered except name recognition. That is the focus in my opinion.

The MGX seems, at least in the US, to be popular so from a business point of view it's a good thing but I'm afraid I have to disagree with you Luap because if that is 'The Future' I won't be a part of it.

Another thread lamenting how Guzzi has abandoned the legions of riders who did not buy CARC bikes. 

I am one of the riders that bought a CARC bike and IS being abandoned by Guzzi. There is nothing in their current lineup except the CARC bikes that I am at all interested in. I like bikes that range from sporty nakeds up to the lighter sport-touring bikes. I want something that is fun on a curvy road but is also comfortable at higher speeds for hour after hour.

Guzzi is a small company. They can't do everything at the same time. Maybe this was the year of the cruisers, but give them another year and I'm sure we'll see something interesting at the next EICMA. Probably water cooled.
