New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Hello,I'd like to know if old V75 wheels could fit my V50? And how about electric starter motor, are these small block's starters the same?Thank you in advance for your help!
I put a Nevada 750 transmission into a Monza and the Monza starter fit fine. The reverse should be the same. The wheels might be made to fit, but there are hurdles both front and rear. If you don't have the parts side by side, you might get some help from parts books for both bikes. http://www.thisoldtractor.com/moto_guzzi_small_blocks_spare_parts_catalogs___exploded_parts_diagrams___parts_fiche.htmlThe spacing between the fork legs is narrower on the original V50 forks than V65 forks and thus probably all larger and later bikes. Greater distance between the fork legs means the brake rotor spacing is probably wrong. And if the rotors are larger diameter on the later bike the V50 rotors might have to fit the V75 wheel. If the bearing spacing is different on the V75 wheels you may also have to axles or spacers. The rear brake changed sides at some point so it would have to switch sides if even possible. Cush drive rubbers also changed at some point but not sure if that affects how the rear wheel engages the rear drive.
