Is There A Stelvio In Sioux Falls?

Hello, I'm new to WildGuzzi and am contemplating the purchase of a Stelvio. The height of the saddle is one of my concerns but the nearest Stelvio for sale is a 2.5hr drive one way. I was hoping there is a member on here from in the Sioux Falls area that owns a Stelvio that I may sit on, not ride, just sit on to get a feel for the ergos. It may be a long shot as I have never seen one in South Dakota, never mind my town. Thanks, Mike.

You likely already know this, but if you find one to sit on, be aware that the Stelvio has a two-position seat that you'll want to have in the lowest position.  The mechanism to change the seat-height has changed since the Stelvio was introduced, but it's an easy thing to adjust, either way.

For the later models, such as my 2016 Stelvio, there are four  rubber thingies under the seat (but mounted to bike, not seat) to reverse to change the seat height. When on tall (four  rubber blocks thinner part forward), the Stelvio is the highest seat of any bike I have ever been on (and that's a lot of bikes). I could barely touch the ground with just my toes.

However, when the rubber thingies are reversed (thicker rubber part forward), it fits me perfectly.  I am 6' tall.

The Stelvio isn't a bike for those with short legs as even the low setting is fairly high on such a wide bike. 31.5" on low. High is a lot higher, but that 31.5" is as low as it goes and that fits me.

You can also change the tilt of the seat by only changing the front or the rear rubber blocks, but this is not recommended in the owner's manual.

So if you do get a chance to ride one:

1.  Remove the seat and see the that the four rubber blocks have the thicker part towards the front of the bike.

2. If not, remove the four rubber blocks (remove from the thin side only) and reverse them and put back on the seat and see how it fits you.

I'd call the folks in Watertown and see if they have one you can sit.

I checked Watertown, non in stock. Leo's would be the closest for a new one, several used ones but all still some distance away. Maybe we'll get a warm day or two and I'll motor over to Leos.

Did you call Nancy at the Motocycle Shop or just look at their website? I really thought I saw one there yesterday. Maybe the website just hasn't been updated.  EDIT-, I just called and talked to Doug, Yes, the Motocycle Shop in Watertown does indeed have a Stelvio on hand.
