"quote" is each post, "reply" is at the bottom of the page.

That's kind of like me not having the NEW TOPIC button on the General Discussion page, but it is on the Swap Meet.

So far, not even the Mods have figured it out.

First I've heard of this , is it missing completely ? Try logging out and then logging on . My search window disappears , I have to click on the WG logo at the top , go thru the motions , and it will appear . Dunno , could be a software glitch , a search engine issue , or magic

An old timer I used to know would say about computers "These things work... but just barely."

Ahhhh...One of the many emails I receive every week.  Where is the Replybutton?  Where is the New Topic button?

All I can tell people is they are in the exact same locations they've been in for at least the past 10 years since I went to this forum software.

If one of the buttons is missing in your browser, try another browser.  Chrome is my personal favorite, followed by Firefox, then Safari, Opera, Dolphin, Avast...Anything but Internet Explorer or Edge which both are complete garbage.

Below are pictures of where the buttons are located.  If yours is not like that, you have a computer or browser problem.  Sorry, but I cannot fix that unless your computer is here.

I think I know the problem Jim. Sometimes if your browser is closed or history deleted it kicks you out from being logged in. I just went to the website and noticed reply was not there. Then I noticed I was not logged in, once I did reply is back.

That actually happened to me yesterday Jim. Don't know why. I use Firefox and never had trouble before. <shrug>

the page could look like that but was not active because the browser timed out or somehow you became disconnected and it logged you out and that's why you couldn't reply?

next time it happens click the refresh page button at the end of the address bar.
