Wow, very creative and clever, but not the direction I would have gone in.  Cornering clearance looks terrible, and I'd bet it handles like a bus because of the weight and automotive wheels and tires, even if the geometry is ideal.  4,000 miles in three years, and its own trailer kinda back up my theory.

True, but at least he recognizes it........he called it the elephant  :whip2:

This is interesting because before I posted it, I did a search thinking it HAD to be covered here. And nothing came up. So I started a thread. I did try, jus' sayin'.

Been pretty slammed and I missed your initial post, Charlie. I'm a fan of Citroen's in general, I'm sure it would have caught my eye.

I'm a fan of Citroen's in general...

Me too.  When I was a little kid, the family had a DS.  It was by far the coolest car that's ever been in the family.  Features it had in the early '60s like radial tires, disk brakes, and self-leveling suspension were way ahead of its time, and you sure couldn't say it looked like any American car.

When the Brussels sprout fails to venture from its lair, it is time to roll a beaver up a grassy slope.

A few weeks ago a DS project for $1500 showed up for sale near me. Didn't look too bad externally, interior and under the hood definitely had needs though.

I liked the car parked next to it much more - an "Adenauer" Mercedes.
