Watch out NASA - the Brits are coming

http://www.digitaltrends.com/cool-tech/meat-pie-space-trip/

Very importantly this was not a mere Meat Pie but a Meat AND POTATO Pie

It didn't truly get into space but there are rumours of a jellied eel fuelled composite rocket that'll do the job  :thumb:

I'd rather they send a few my way, can't find a good pie in Vancouver for love nor money.
I miss those pies available in any Kiwi corner store or gas station.

Equally intriguing is the information that there will be a World Pie Eating Championship to be held in Wigan.
I wonder if it will be on Euro Sport?

That pie is indestructable! The Brits should sell their pie for the re-entry shielding on future space vehicles! Would make it a lot easy to find the landing site with EuroSpace recovery smelling teams.

I like to see the ingredients on top.

Hot pies by quadcopters too!

Ultimate pie.

Riddle me this, Batman!  What British Spy Eyed this Pie in the Sky?
Guess Who!

Come a little closer now ...

Sithe thar knos ..... I've no idea what that means as I'm a full blooded Southerner up North on missionary business but its a compliment I believe .

UPDATE ON THE MEGA PIE
I had to beat the lads in the office off with a stick and protect the pie from being stroked or drooled on.

We concluded that meat pies are most definitely bloke food and the women in the office just roll their eyes and say "Bless"
