It was a NO RESERVE...so maybe that was not too bad a price (?)

$15,525 for the original unrestored Le Mans and $14,950 for the restored V7 Sport.

I would have thought they both would have gone for more.

The 75 Ducati 750SS reached $150K but NO SALE.

I thought $100K was nuts but honestly, not even $150K buys this bike???

I missed the listing for the lovely 1978 Moto Morini Strada- Lot F28 - sold for $4500.00. Now that's a bike I would love to have. I didn't see it in the previews I have been following, shame, that was a good price for a Morinin that is in nice original condition.

You almost wonder if there's some sort of game going on ... the seller wasn't really seriously selling, and the bidders weren't actually seriously bidding.   Stranger things have happened in the commercial world of ephemera .....

I agree, it makes me wonder if the seller was really only interested in waving his wonderful toy in front of the crowd only to bring it back next year and see if he can get to $200K and still not sell it.

If this is the current auction in Vegas, then some of those motorcycles - mostly Italian - are coming from Guy Webster's collection.  Sad to see them go, but not all that surprised after his stroke a couple of years ago.

Nice collection!   He has several very rare 1960's CR72 DOHC Honda Race bikes (street-going Hondas of the day were SOHC).
