Sadly NO..... Below freezing Ice all over the roads, and a healthy fear of falling kept me off. But I did change the Tender from the Stornello to the GRiSO!!!

"Ditto" that but I don't have a Stornello or Griso.  Additionally, who knows what de-ice chems were used on the roads here this season that needs a good rainfall to remove.  Hopefully in early March I'll be able to get out for an occasional ride until riding season weather is 100% here.  So, NO, I didn't ride today.

On the brighter side, Progessive informed me that my bike insurance is decreasing by $135/yr.....how the heck often does that sorta thing happen!!??
Oh well, I'll take it.

No riding for me either. I did manage to put the battery charger on the Buell then onto the 2011 R1200GS to top up the charge. The 2024 GSA and the mower will get their turn tomorrow. The cold and road treatment don't bother me as much as I have the bikes all cleaned up and do not want to get them dirty.

Rode my 230L Honda (the town bike) and my XR600 desert bike yesterday.
Was 65F sunny and windy here in Baja Sur, I'm a lucky guy.

Only bike I have now is the 1972 Honda CB 750 chopper but may have a used (new to me) v85tt in a couple of months.  Anyways the Honda isn’t charging while running; s short in a wire going to voltage regulator so no riding for me!

I rode my V7 to the post office and the grocery store. It was 40 degrees, which is comfy for me. I just got a new pair of gloves with long gauntlets to keep the wind from going up my sleeves. Not cold enough for the heated gloves. Only 6 or 7 miles, better than nothing.

I rode it off of the trailer and into my garage. I had it to the dealer for tires and service.  They had it back in under a week.  Now is the time of year to do these things when dealers/independent techs need to keep their guys busy. I got Metzler 888s for the Eldorado with white wall.  I didn't know they were available.  The stock Dunlaps lasted 10,ooo miles but were not confidence inspiring and in the rain, definitely not.  30K mile service, she is ready for the good weather.

Nope. 18F with some ice still around. Enough salt on the road to preserve fish.

No....still "too cold"   up here in northern AZ...but honestly, after February, winter weather will slowly cease to exist and spring will be upon us...  (Photo below from March 11, 2024) :thumb: :boozing:

Nope, although it was very pleasant this afternoon (70F, sunny and lite breeze) after the deep freeze of 35F in central Florida! I am not supposed to ride until March for medical reasons, but I had to do a couple of short test rides on the V7 and EV after brake and fork work. Not up for long rides anyway, sitting is a literal PITA for any extended period of time

Well, got to 55* and I had to go get the itch off. Hasn't changed any, I felt better when I got back. I don't know how someone could let their bike sit years & years like one I know in OH.

Yes I did, and it took 90 minutes to go 10 miles in the pouring rain, strong winds, and 6 degrees C . To make a short story longer than it could be; multiple accidents, police road closures, and roadworks combined with having to NOT have my wife in her car behind me lose me, as she didn't know where we were going exactly.  Bike is now safely tucked away at a friends house for the next fortnight or so, while builders come and go through the bike store while they construct us a new summer house.

PS - got one of those 3d printed wrenches for the oil filler in the Breva, and one for my friend (V7) - looks very well made.

Only to the grocery store. I am in the process of painting and re-flooring the kitchen and dining room. Better now than in the riding season.

Yeah, slowly getting back after PCa treatments. Am combining errands to get some ride time in. 35 on the V7 yesterday, 25 on the EV. Tomorow or Fri will be a short one on the Bonnie. Weather has been great here--low 80s for high nice breezes today
