On a more positive note, just landed in Manchester, UK this morning for a few days of business.

A few images coming in...not sure what river that is by the airport (Mersey? Brolin?)...some local "commuters" seen on the streets near City Center...and of course, a sampling of the local brew!

Movement, in general, is a good thing!

I think I'm going to wind my neck in

Looks like I'm just a babe at 56 going on 57

Seems that I just need to develop some new "techniques" and carry on regardless  :thumb:

I'll be 58 in a couple months and discovered I'm turning into 'that guy'.

You know the guy. A friend rides up with someone in tow and says " hey, here's Tom. He's my friend and wanted to ride with us today ".

Tom's a nice enough guy, amiable, been around awhile, knows enough. Then it's time to go. Tom takes ten minutes to put on his jacket and helmet.  Then he realizes he forgot to put in his earplugs, so off comes the helmet.

Once all that is finished and everyone is ready to go, Tom can't locate his keys. He had them when he arrived.  After another few minutes searching countless pockets, he finally finds them and is ready to. Just as soon as he finds his missing left glove. Oh, haha. He's sitting on it.

Luckily I realize the symptoms  and and work on rectifying them before this scenario actually plays out in reality😊

Ive found the "that guy" is the same at 30 as he is at 60 so no real change and the guys who are ready and ride fast still do. I turned 60 last week and have friends of both groups, when I feel like taking a nice mellow ride I ride with the old, slow, losing their keys, guys and when I feel like melting some tires i ride with the other group.

The Germans also said that 70+ years ago...although in a quite different context at the time..."Work Will Set You Free!"

Yeah I know. I live in Slovenia, which was occupied from Italian side as from German one. It may sound weird (and scary) if you took it from that context, but it's true.

I'm 68 next and still working part time, it means I don't feel guilty spending on bikes. My wife says I should start acting my age so I started down sizing and sold my Paneuro and after a few in between bikes ended up with my V7 11 so getting on a bit is ok. Steve.

Since electricity takes the path of least resistance,  When you stick a fingering a light socket the electric current should go from the tip of your finger to the part of your finger that is touching the rim of the socket.
So why does your whole body shake with the shock when it is only putting power into your finger?
