Going while the going's good.
« on: February 28, 2017, 01:35:40 PM »

I fitted new headlight brackets to the 750s today, so I had to take it for a little ride.

Of course you had to take it for a ride. I don't see why you really needed an excuse. Delightful.

But I'd be scared to put a tank bag on a bike like that! :-0

Hey, putting a tank bag on a nice paint job like that is nowhere NEAR as scary as taking a picture, while you are OFF the bike, while the bike running 30 KPH and the engine turning 2000 RPM ...

All that aside, that's a nice bike to see on the road.   Well, so are the loop and the single, come to think of it ...

The paint isn't original and fairly rough, but I'm not much for getting fussy about bikes. IMHO they are meant to be ridden, not worshipped.

Sounds like to me that there might be "reasons" for two more rides coming up sometime ... !   :thumb:

Nick

That hole area is littered with some beautiful roads well suited to that great bike you have. Thanks for the Google Link.

That's a couple hours from where I live.  I'm relatively new to the "Kawarthas" and I'm excited about exploring the area north of peterborough and where you just rode.

Nice one Nick!

I bet you find the ride a lot more comfortable with the swan necks pulled up to the limit.

OK. As you can see, the rest of the shiny bits are a little patinated, but it's a rider.
