LAST CALL

Looking forward to seeing everyone.  As noted earlier, the restaurant at the KOA is unfortunately closed when we are there.  I am making dinner reservations in town for Thurs., Friday, and Sat. nights.  I had four folks say yes to that above.  Anybody else want a place at the table?  I will be making the reservations in the next day or so.
Put me in for two, Saturday....
If it's tourist season, why can't you hunt them?

Dinner and meetup Plans:

Thursday night, we will be meeting at the Ouray Brewery, 607 Main Street, at 6:30
PM.  There IS NOT a reservation as they don't take them, however they said they had lots of seating so I am not expecting an issue.

Friday night, there is currently no plan.  The only places I could find that take reservations are pretty expensive and I didn't want to commit to that.  Hoping we can check out the town and discuss on thursday and come up with a plan then.

Sat. night, we have a reservation at Bon Ton, 426 Main St., at 6:00 PM.  This is the most reasonable place I found that takes a reservation.  It is Italian.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.  I expect to arrive in Ouray around 4:30 PM on Thursday.
I have maps for the Friday and Saturday rides.
I am staying in Cabin 22A.  303-944-8594 (call or text)

I'm leaving Denver for Telluride tomorrow (Sunday), then to the Ouray KOA on Tuesday night.  If any of you Thursday folks need anything, give me a call on the cell:  303. 328. 7610.  My plan is to go to Silverton Thursday morning, back at the KOA by mid afternoon.  Dennis

I only made a reservation for Sat. night, so I can add people to that after we get a "final" headcount Thursday night.  We are meeting at the Ouray brewery at 6:30 Thursday, and can discuss plans for Friday then.  The restaurant options for big groups at a reasonable cost are limited.

If you enjoy a good steak the Outlaw restaurant should be on your short list.

It does look good, but most entre prices were $30+.  I wasn't willing to commit to that on behalf of the group.  This is a Guzzi gathering, not a Beemer gathering
but if people want to try I can make a reservation for Friday night.

The True Grit Cafe, in Ridgway had a pretty good menu and reasonable prices as I recall.

I'm at the KOA.  The brook is burbling, the beer downtown is cold, all seems well.  If anyone wants to meet before going downtown Thursday evening, I'm in Kabin no. 83.   Dennis

Skippy,
I will add you to our dinner reservation for Sat. Night.  Seems like we are looking at somewhere between 15 and 20 folks, but like yourself, not all will be there at the same time or for the entire weekend.  I has a dinner reservation for 12, but it is up to 15 now.

The (John Wayne) movie was filmed in the mountains around Ridgeway.

BTW-  The patio view is pretty nice at the Brewery.  JJ Cale friendly too.
