Fork Gaiters California Vintage

Time for fork seals, thinking about adding gaiters while the forks are apart.  Wondering if anyone knows size and good source for fork gaiters.

My problem with them is that their quality is inconsistent.  I've had some disintegrate with a brake fluid spill while others seem to resist fluids well.  I've had some that made the 'stretch' around my fork tubes and some that tore instead.  It's like they change the rubber compounds randomly.

I bought ones for a Triumph Thruxton for my Calvin. They are for 41mm forks and ours are 45mm. I have not installed them yet but when I was researching before I found a post somewhere that said they work but just need to stretch a little bit more.

Not a CalVin but when I replaced the fork seals on the V11 Jackal I too used gaiters from Triumph although I cannot come up with a P/N. 

I did end up cutting about an inch of one end, the thick, smaller diameter end.  Anyway, they worked great.

 There are car CV joint boots in different sizes . Very tough and cheaper than motorcycle specific gaiters , you just need to check for sizing .

I got around to installing the fork gaiters on my Calvin yesterday and they fit great without any trimming. I removed the fork brace bolts temporarily and pried the brace slightly away from the fork so I could push the gaiter farther down onto the fork.
The Thruxton gaiters are perfect, good fit and look good too. Looks good especially on the Calvin. Enhances the old style effect that the Calvin has.

K&S 16-3009 are cheap (~$25:) and work well on my 45mm forked bikes. Part number is 0406-0030

Those are the same ones I bought. I just got them off a vendor on ebay for a couple of bucks less.
They fit tight enough that I don't need any clamps.
I may get another set for my Jackal.
