T3 with Floorboards
« on: June 21, 2017, 07:28:31 PM »
Any suggestions on the best method for removing the oil cap?  Do you need to remove the gear shift first?  It's really tight and I can't get a socket in there.

Put the kick stand down out of the way. Place a long 7/8 box end wrench on the dipstick and tap it with a hammer.

Thanks! Worked perfectly.  I had tunnel vision thinking it can only be done using the tool in my hand.
