The H&B Legacy bags and the tan NAZ bags look really good on the classic styled V7 line.
The suitcase style hard cases on a bike... I'm sorry but they all look like they don't belong.

Nothing says "doesn't belong on a bike" like Samsonite!  IMHO of course.
The best part of riding a motorcycle is to tilt the horizon and to lift the front coming out of a corner and to drift the back end powering thru loose dirt and to catch a little air topping a hill and... yeah it's all good!

Get the soft bags either in canvas and leather or brown leather to go with the anniversary look of the bike.  Nice leather strap on the tank will go great with the leather straps on the bags if they match well.

If you need to carry more, keep a soft duffle with D rings attached in one of the bags with some Arno or ROK straps and you can strap across the pillion section of the seat.

If yu like the c-bow mounts on the bike. You can buy the bag mounts from moto as listed above and make any bag set into c-bows.

Is this what you're referring to:

Great find!  I quite like the Pack Animal ( http://packanimal.co ) and Leather Native ( https://www.amazon.com/Motorcycle-Leather-Saddlebags-Saddle-Panniers/dp/B074JF4VX3?ref=hnd_dp_car_mba_6 / https://www.amazon.com/Motorcycle-Leather-Saddlebags-Saddle-Panniers/dp/B0719CCQ6G?ref=hdn_dp_car_mba_4 ) bags. Since they are handmade almost to order I wonder if one could supply them with the C-Bow mounting brackets and have them incorporate this as the mounting system.

I like having hard bags. I have had HB or Givi bags on all my bikes for over 30 years. They are handy, and can haul a bunch of groceries, camping gear, or become a cooler in the evening on a trip.
I also think they offer a bit of impact protection. Every bit helps when you are invisible.

Stitched imitation leather - the Bagster tank bra. Tank bags (various sizes) clip on. They come in various colours. The black looks good on a mate's Racer. In my case, the previous owner had the stripes to match the tank added. The bra doesn't seem to scratch the paint (or the chrome) even with long use - and it doesn't get blisteringly hot when in summer sun. No interference with the knees, in fact, the grip is a little better.bEasy to remove when you want to show off the tank, & easy to put on. Recommended.

Those 11 Liter bags are pretty dam small.

I'd be looking for something I could fit a gallon jug of milk into.

Then again I'm more of the mind to say heck with it and just run a 'Hack.  with dogs of course

I like the looks of the pack animal and have been thinking about them for my Anniversario. The more I think about it the more I like it naked. But the price on the Amazon link seems to good to be true!  I might have to try those. Anyone have any experience with them?

Yeah butt it's wide and heavy which I relate to because I've been only wearing "husky" jeans since I was 10 years old. Heck even when I was skinny I wore "husky"

Those NAZ bags look great. Ideally I'd like a removable rack so my top bag isn't on the rear mudguard or taillight and a set of the grey Big Fella bags.

Reviving an old thread here: Hello Guzzi Gal, your thread just abruptly ended, leaving an interested reader in suspense--- what did you end up with for bags?

Funny (?) story: I was intrigued by the waxed canvas bags by Pack Animal but all mention of them seemed to have disappeared in recent years. But, I found a new presence on the web selling a chi-chi little backpack under the name Pack Animal (no sign of cycle saddlebags anywhere), so I emailed them asking what happened to the bike gear. Received a prompt answer. The original owners sold to some venture capital-infused firm and the new owners kept "Pack Animal" as a subsidiary, went with the tiny backpack and increased the price $$$$. Didn't seem interested in my question about saddlebags... Sigh, "progress" I guess.

A Givi E370, mounted on a chrome Hepco & Becker Luggage Rack, is what I ended up with.  It holds my helmet and jacket whilst I'm not riding and most everything else when I am.

Before I added the luggage rack, I used the First Gear Silverstone tail bag and saddlebags (not shown).

Good move.  IMHO that particular motorcycle is SO stunning in it's look it's close to sacrilege to hang anything off of it.

It took me a while, but I came around to the same conclusion.  I also realized that I will probably never tour or go on big shopping runs on her. At 53, with young kids still, "touring" is a bike trailer behind the minivan.

I guess I was asking if anyone had experience with the installed options, and if you use throw-over bags, what do you use to keep them from kicking in.

The universal bag supports you posted are just perfect for this, that is their stated purpose.. they arent for mounting bags to, they are for keeping throwover saddle bags out of the rear wheel

The cheapest (Guzzi content) method of keeping throw over bags off the wheel & shocks, is that bloke who fixed L brackets from the hardware shop with U-bolts to the V7 rear rack. Said it worked fine for its intended purpose.

I used Eclipse soft bags for years. I could put them on any of the bikes I ever owned. And they still look new even nearly 40 years later.
I'll have to find a value for them (so I can pass them on) since I have the HP bags on the EVT.

Never had a rear Top Case, has anyone bailed off with one of those attached?
