For me, reply #7 and #9, number 7 looks a bit like the Flinders Ranges in South Australia.
I love every one of them...

Not a highway shot but (I hope) in the spirit of the post.

This is a great post mate.
I get sick to death of posts about adding 1/16th of an inch to a perfectly capable fairing screen to reduce "excessive buffet" on a bike that's sold after 4 years with 3,000 miles on the clock. How do they know ? They never ride the bastard !!!
Those shots contain an excitement and a romance that only a lonely hiway (as you eloquently describe) can provide...Love that #7
Good one.

I feel so blessed to live in an area where I can ride many roads with little traffic. This picture was taken last week  SW of Manhattan, KS. I was stopped by the flagger for about 20 minutes. In that time the only traffic were the trucks connected to the road resurfacing. I when I could proceed I was the only vehicle there to follow the pilot vehicle.  :thumb:

Good Kansas shot Pete. Do you remember anymore specifically where in Kansas as I don't have a clue as to where you took that picture, could be quite a few areas of Kansas.

Those FN Scotland and FN Queensland ones look dangerously similar. I would not have picked them apart.
