V1000 G5 cylinders and pistons

Hi
I am purchasing 850 T3  1976 and dont know jet if it have chrome cylinders.?
I was lurking ebay theres 1000 G5 used cylinders with pistons for sale , do i need anything else to change T3 to 1000 cc ? And do they fitt T3 , or do i need machinist to fit them .
They look good in picture

You'll have to have the barrels turned down or have the case bored out to use the G5/SP1000 units. Those are cast iron barrels. Probably need a hone and new rings at the very least

MG cycle, Harpers Moto Guzzi, Moto International, etc sell new Gilardoni barrels and pistons rings etc. as a kit.

 I'd go that route.

you also can get cyls with the 1000 bore but fit 850 cyl holes
