Dunno , they're up 7-5 bottom of the 11th , one out .

Good game..... lot of home runs. Houston needed that win.

There's always Yankee haters.  We get it and we're ok with it.  Figure you're just jealous!  Ha ha

Let's hope it's the classic it has the potential to be.  Like any championship event, even if it's not your favorite thing-if you get a chance, just go.  It may be even more enjoyable if you have no dog in the fight-but either way these events are really unique and the atmosphere is most likely unlike anything else.  Been to NFL championship games, World Series, Stanly Cup, and MLS championship games.  Nothing like it.

Nic in NC, let us know when you relocate to the frozen north.  We have a great Guzzi rally every year two weeks after Memorial Day.

Checked ticket prices a couple nights ago.  About $1150 each seat for el cheapo seats.  Wife and I will pass.

I've been to game 7 of the NBA finals last two times the Lakers beat the Celtics in game sevens.  Took my dad to the one in the 80's, took my sone to the last one.  My dad took me to a super bowl in the 1970's.  Don't think we ever went to a World Series.  Looking forward to the Los Angeles Oympics in 2028.  I went to several events in the last LA Olympics.

Wow, what a game!  Got a little boring in the middle innings but definitely picked up in the eighth inning.  I am definitely hoping to see more hard fought games like this.

I expected Verlander to hold the Dodgers back but it was 3-1 against Houston when he checked out. Astros bats made the difference.

I still expect the series to go to the Dodgers in six games.

Now up by three...  Funny how I now like Altuve and the rest of those crazy Astros.  lol

I am now relegated to exclaim "Maybe next year" for the Red Sox... :(

Oh well, this series is awesome.   :thumb:

There was one of those plays that occur every WS that can decide a game and the series .

Astros had some great defense to go with their hot bats, last night. Hopefully, they’ll continue to enjoy playing at home. Houston strong!

Wonder if I'll get to see the whole game tonight. Game 2, 8th inning, a big storm rolls in and I loose satellite reception. Last night, Top of the ninth and we mysteriously loose power. I swear I never said a disparaging word about the "Bambino" :)

Geo. Springer goes yard to finally put a score on the board for Houston.  Dodgers will have to respond now.

Edit: ...and it's back even at one all.

Wonder if Hammy can hit a curve ball ?

If Keuchel can't find the strike zone the Astros are in trouble . Their closer is toast .
