Loop frame saddle seat Which is the best Harper’s ,MG,s or stein dinse

I have a loop frame civilian version eldorado 1973  and the single saddle seat is stein dinse,s much like mg guzzi,s
I’m short But I feel like my butt is hanging of the rear of the seat not interested in the double seat
Is Harper’s any good ?

I've got a Harpers solo seat and like it even though It's dished fairly deep, maybe a little too much for me since I'm tall.

I've ridden 12 hours days, without discomfort, on the Harper's seat - something I've never been able to do on any other seat. I don't like sprung seats - they make me feel disconnected from the bike - so the MG/Stein-Dinse seat is out for me.

I currently have the motorcycle and the Harpers seat that Charlie mentioned in the previous post. I am a few inches taller than Charlie at 5'10" and find that after about 30 minutes or so I feel cramp and too close to the tank. I also have the Cycle Garden seat on another Ambassador and it feels similar.  So at 5'10" I'd like for both of the seats to have more rear room. Also, both of these seats should be wider so more of my skinny butt could fit on the seat. 

edit: The Cycle Garden seat definitely has a higher quality of covering the seat compared to the Harpers. I believe the covering is marine grade vinyl.

A note: If I remember correctly the Harpers seat is different that the original Guzzi seat.

Perhaps a "Buddy" seat? not sure on comfort but plenty front to back and rear width for many positions to move around.

Had that "Buddy" seat on the '74 LAPD I sold a few years back. BEST seat I ever sat on, and lot's of room to move.

I bought it from a private guy thinking it was a stock Euro GT 850 seat. What is this "Buddy" identifier? You don't see many of them.

Actually, you have the motorcycle, but not the same seat - I kept that one for my '69 Ambo. The Harper's solo that's on "Barney" is a used one I bought from "bigbikerrick". The two seats are completely different in comfort, even though they're from the same company. The one I kept (and what Harper's currently sells) places the rider slightly lower and farther back. Much more comfortable for the long haul - at least for me (5' 6", 150 lbs.).

For my posterior, the flatter and firmer the better.  I unstapled the cover of mine (Moto Guzzi Classics) and shoved a firm piece of foam into the middle to level it.  Love it!

I have the MG/ Stein Dinse sprung solo seat on my eldo, and like it. It looks beautiful on the bike. The only complaint I have is that it sits you up higher than the unsprung seats. For guys with longer legs it would probably be perfect( I have a 31" inseam) 5'9". I dont mind the "bounce" it gives, actually feels cool, and is easy on the spine. The main reason I got it is, over the last couple of years, I have lost alot of weight, and have a very bony ass, without much natural cushion!
 
This seat comes with 3" springs. I have thought about buying some 2" springs, and re welding the front mount also an inch lower.
