New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Im considering the same thing, but would probably wait until next spring or summer. I definitely dont need the bike, but its appealing and almost everybody here seems to love theirs. So well see....
I don't need the bike as well, but it would be cool just to have ..local dealer has the Black and green special and the Anniversario in stock and think I can get a decent deal from him. Its really tempting :-)
Just so you know, Kev, motorcycles are available in a variety of colours.
You ever see my first Guzzi. It was a black Jackal!
Looks white to me.
And isn't that one of those limp whale phallus looking tanks you so dislike?
I have a Cali 1400 Custom that I have had for 2 plus years and farkled it out pretty well(Bags, Shield, Agostinis..ect). I thought about trading it in on a Stelvio or an MGX21, but since I have put all that money into it, and I still like the bike.. I just thought about keeping the Cali and adding a V7III special or Aniversario for those around town and back road travels when I dont want to pull the 700 lb behemoth out of the garage.Im a bigger guy 6'1"ish 30" inseam 250ish, but owned a 2003 T-100 (back in the day) so Im guessing from a size standpoint the two bikes are pretty comparable. I guess my question has anybody added a V7 as a secondary bike and how has it worked out for you? Also would you do it again or added something bigger like a Griso? Thanks
Do it!Good luck, you will love the V7-iii and the Anniversario is a real attention grabbing conversation piece.
TBH I think you be cramped I'm 5'11 have no idea what my inseam is but I have a longer torso rather than legs and the V7 is a pretty small motorcycle mainly in the seat to peg ratio not sure if the direct link will work but this is pretty handy. http://cycle-ergo.com
It's easy enough to build up the stock an inch or two depending on what you need. The bonus is you get a better seat with more comfort.IMO seats, bars, and screens should never decide what a rider does or does not purchase. OEM's are building a bike for any of us so it's not at all unreasonable to change what needs changing. Some do get a bit lucky right out of the box-good for them.
So I have seen the V7’s upclose but have only sat on the Racer. Would the V7 III series be equivalent to a Boneville in size and seating ergos? I owned a 2003 Bonne back in the day and the seating position was fine on that bike
KevThat Black Jackal , was a pretty bike ...I'm 5'10" w/32" inseams and the V-7II fits great ! I wouldn't want the seat to be any further off the ground , but I think the III model has an inch lower seat ?
KevThat Black Jackal , was a pretty bike ...
Kinda like this chick I dated in college.
Really, Kev?Im sure you meant to say: Kinda like a certain young woman I once dated in college. This is the Moto Guzzi forum, not the one for the other marque you probably frequent.

Wow KevI didn't mean to get you on a path of self destruction ... I'm also really glad I don't use those bad words when I'm trying to jaw the right way ! But that Jackel was a perty good looking bike machine !
I'm offended that you associate using the work chick with that other marque.
