looks very tidy & neat to me, much more so than gaudy paint job thing that was raved over on here a week or so back.
Re drivetrain, I saw very similar looking bike at Mandello last year, German reg, perhaps same builder. It was  a 1200 8 valve carbed not 1400 so looked more in proportion. Interesting if they do break gearboxes, I would n’t expect that, maybe someone in Europe will chime in, if he’s built a few you’d expect some reports but one I saw had definitely been ridden there.
The other question that begs is do Guzzi list complete engines as spare part ?
Price obviously relevant but as replacement for 8 valve that needs cam kit and maybe much more, could be the way to go ?
Happy new year all

it looks completely out of proportion, like a pole dancer who went crazy at the boob job shop.

I'm also tired of the whole no side cover, ghost battery, empty space thing between the frame rails.

looks freakish to me , as well ..price is absurd ...some people have to much money me thinks

There are significant differences between the 1200 and 1400 motors but both are available as a spare part. We considered all options before we embarked on the 1400 build the way we did and used both the single spark heads and the W5AM controller rather than the 7SM and single TB/RBW set up.

Not that I want or need a1400cc motorbike but bet there’s a few who do esp if they have a 1200 dead with no warranty, wots the cost of factory 1400 motor?
could be ideal thing for 3 whealer morgan rep too, would only need a 3speed box or a single speed with slush box like rk’s trike, all that grunt would make one hell of a diabilty carriage,

Over here? Not sure but a pre E4 engine in the US would probably be about 14K I'd guess. Lot of pissing about to make it work in a CARC bike. Cheaper to build a single spark 1400.

in states getting a wrecked 1400 cheap enough
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Moto-Guzzi-2012-2013-2014-15-California-Touring-ABS-15-16-Eldorado-ENGINE-MOTOR/311965046362?epid=2258332623&hash=item48a290d65a:g:Oa4AAOSwbihZxBcA

33000 miles near enough new
but I reckon the German who built this bike is getting new motors at the right money, factory have supplied outside builders before ( ghezzi and brian?)
If e4 are big change perhaps that’s why, dump the pre e4 ones into old chassis/number plate, circumvent new registration rules. Factory condoned but very unofficially
I’d buy a box of last pushrod motors to do similar but maybe he’s already used them up?
