For some reason was locked out of the forum and have had to register under a new nic. Was a great ride and great weather. Good for the soul.

Too fast flowing for yabbies mainly in billabongs and dams.

Our mountains are only foothills compared to Canada. Our highest mountain would be lucky to be in Canada's top 100. Little snow but still great riding

Was a good weekend Mick.
Good to have an evening with Pete and nice to see you also. Went home via Cooma, Jindabyne, Tintaldra ( overnight), Goulburn, Creswick.

Googled it out of interest. Better add a zero. Australia: 2228 meters. Rockies (Canada side) 3954m. Mt Logan (Yukon) 5950m.
And because we know our American friends are competitive:Denali @ 6190m.
Anyone on line from India?

The difference is that no one in their right mind would like to ride a motorbike in the Yukon. But the Australian Alps in late summer are near perfect bike weather.
