Bet they sound good.  How difficult is it take the bags off the Touring model?  It looks pretty good even with the crash bars.

I have those and they're pretty sweet.  They are noticably louder but not ridiculous.  I'm not sure if they objectively add more power to the bike but taking off from a stoplight in veloce mode with these bad boys on is way, way more fun.

I have the same pipes on mine.  The bags come of with four bolts inside each bag.  Getting the crash bars of is a slightly bigger headache due to space limitations getting wrench/hand in there without taking off the wheel.

I have Mistral's on mine.  They're stupid loud with the DB killers out.  Sound great with them in though.

Did you remap?
I'm not sure I'm convinced the factory ECU will compensate.  I'd need to see some real proof from an A/F dyno report to feel good about that possibility.  But, I'm also not sure that's 100% correct as I have not seen any sheets on a before/after dyno run either.  I do know that my Triumph R3 and 856 Bonneville A/F ratios did not compensate with pipes.

I've heard Agostini pipes on a 1400 at Hamlin's shop.  Glorious!

With the DB killers in, a re-map is probably not necessary, all else being equal (e.g., no removal or changes to other bits, too). With the DB killers out, you might need a re-map (though my Norge #1 did just fine with the DB killer removed and no re-map).
