Fuel Line question... is it submersible?
« on: March 30, 2018, 06:24:39 PM »
I bought a Wix 33032 fuel filter and it came with two-2.5" fuel lines. How do I know if this fuel line is submersible in gas?

Find out what other vehicles it fits and then find out if they have an internal pump and filter. Of course this assumes that the manufacturer knows what they’re doing.

Or to be sure, go to the parts store and buy a foot of the right stuff.

Over here Gates fully submersible 8mm hose costs about $48 for six inches. That’s like 3/4 of a case of beer! Worth finding out if the supplied hose would work to my mind.
