What the hell, supposed to be dry but chilly this Saturday so we will be meeting up for coffee and pastry. Which is what this world needs more of.

Probably just be me and Cookie. (Who will probably ride a bmw just to annoy me.)

10:00 am to Noon.

Always fun. Parking will be a bit wonky. We've lost access to the lower lawn. We will continue to park in the lower lot until it fills up. Once it fills, we will park in the upper lot. We'll make it work.

The Bakery could use our help-- it's been a tough year for small business. Hope you can make it for lunch, a pastry, and some BS. As of now, weather is looking pretty damn good.

Last month, a fellow new to the area showed up. Very nice fella despite riding a Beemer. Hearing him try to pronounce Monongahela was. . . interesting. The Bakery is in PA but about 1/4 mile north of Monongalia county in West Virginia. I don't think he believed me when I told him that. :)

Just a bunch of folks on a variety of machines. Euro bikes. Scooters. Adventure and dual sport bikes. Commuters. Japanese, Euro, etc. Harleys, Indians, and Victorys are great, too.
Everybody welcome. Family friendly. Only one rule- no jagoffs. :)

We have access to the grassy area below the bakery for bike parking again, so no more crowding on the driveway. I figure we might as well try the bike meet again. Let's see how it goes.

OK folks. Next Saturday. July 13. Looking forward to it. The new management seems to be doing an excellent job. Some new menu options. We should have plenty of room for parking. There is a detour on Rt 19 just south of Waynesburg PA so keep that in mind if you're coming from the north. The CL ad:

I rode RT 19 yesterday and the detour is gone-- the road is now open. Some new pavement too, so it's a good ride.

Weather is looking great. Hope you can make it.

Great location and a good turn out, although not too many Guzzis (one other). Fun talking with some of the other riders and comparing notes on Alpine riding areas. It was a toasty day so I had to stop for a milkshake on the way home.

Glad you made it. My biggest gripe about the Bakery meet is that I don’t get to talk to everybody that I want to. I think it’s important to greet the first-timers and the loners.
There’s a secret stash of great ice cream in an alley in Waynesburg. I’ll show you sometime. :)
