My fuel pump quit last November. She sat for a month until I determined that I could get the same Bosch fuel pump from Auto Zone. So, anyway, I put another pump on it. It ran, but the idle was off. It seemed set too slow, but would pop and balk at slow speed, to the point I had to use the fast idle lever to keep it running enough to get home. I got all prepared to reset the throttle bodies--- voltmeter, allen wrenches, etc. When I took off the right side plastic throttle body cover, there was a 2-3" chunk of mud wasp nest right in the throttle linkage! Since I did not remember that being there before, I broke it up with a pair of channel lock pliers, and got all the pieces out. Voila! Runs like a new one! "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
