Lower wind deflectors on Cali 1400 tourer
« on: May 04, 2018, 05:44:57 PM »
I just put the factory lower deflected on my 2015 1400 tourer and took her out for a spin. I must say I was a little disappointed at no more change in the wind coming up under both shields and hitting the upper body and face. Looks like a taller windshield from Clearview Shields is in order to accomplish the results of calm air which I like to ride in. Anyone else find this to be the case ?

My impression was a huge difference in the turbulence of the airflow. I also added a Lam Lip.

Mine is an Eldorado but I had the same results with both.  Noticeable improvement.
