Michigan Rally?

I see on the MGNOC site that the Michigan Rally is scheduled for August 17-19? I ask because:

A) The MI rally has traditionally been held in September, no?
B) I've not been able to find anything here on WG about it

I was going to e-mail the organizer and ask but thought this may be of interest to others here. I do plan to attend after doing a loop of most likely Lake Huron.

The Michigan Rally was moved forward a few weeks when Randy Petersen accepted the responsibility to plan the rally.  The rally date in September frequently ended up being a very wet/cold weekend (actually just before the first snow).  The date was moved forward to where it is now the weekend before the Ontario Canada Rally. 

The change in dates made a lot of sense to me.  It is (hopefully) nicer weather for the rally and it allows attendees to conveniently make both rallies if they wish.
