That is indeed a 1100 2 valve motor kicking out just about the same hp and torque as your 1200 2V Norge.
Makes you wonder why Guzzi bothered boring it out to 1200 only to replace it with the flawed 8 valve engine shortly afterwards.

Well...
Yes. Although to be fair, they did patch it up eventually.

FWIW, kbb.com says trade in for an excellent a good-condition example should be $3540 and retail  for an excellent one $5550 $5150 in my zip code.

My rule of thumb wrt KBB is add the trade in value and retail value, divide by two, and you have your starting asking price for a vehicle. (In this case $4,345).

I do have a reference point on recent Griso sales.  My old 2006 Griso, traded in 2017, was offered by the dealer for $4,500.  Was on his lot for a week so it's safe to assume it went for $4,000+.

From casual observation over the last couple of years push-rod Grisos and good, run of the mill V11s seem to have a floor price around $4 grand, give or take a little.

Love my 4V Griso.... One of the best bikes I've ever had.  Does it all, and when properly sorted & setup is a Joy to ride and ride hard. It's not a kinder gentler bike. It's raw Cutting edge not for softies.....Don't pinch pennies, if it is a solid bike and you like it, Buy it..... IMO the 1100 4v motor is better suited to the bike than the 8v. I've ridden both and though the 8v has more power, prefer the feel and sound of the 4v. I'll never sell mine, one day when I can't ride it will be ride by side in my garage with my 79 Yamaha xs1100.
