We also have some BBQ around these parts. You might know of the James/Younger boys; Martha "Calamity Jane" Canary; Wyatt Earp; "Bloody Bill" Anderson, to name a few.

As for me, I hail from the heart of the NY Finger Lakes. We happen to be the #2 wine region in the entire US of A... slightly behind some valley in California that got named after an auto parts store. Sadly, being a world of balance, the good parts have their opposing bad parts... mostly in the forms of taxes, laws, regulations, etc... Seems a person can't even fart in NY State without permission.

Horrible internet
Oslo, Norway: I think it’s best known for its viking ship museum; the original painting «Scream» in the Munch museum; the Gustav Vigeland sculpture park; the Holmenkollen ski jump.My recommendations would certainly include the viking ship museum which is one of my favourites. Gustav Vigeland’s younger brother Emanuel made a mausoleum which is a much overlooked gem - it’s mainly a fresco-covered, unilluminated vault with dramatic scenes of human life from conception to death (while Gustav’s sculptures, in light granite in open air, convey human life from birth to death). I’d include a visit to the Oscarsborg fort in the fjord about one hour away - beautiful in itself and with an interesting and dramatic history.Among the things that make life enjoyable here are the proximity to the forest offering hiking, bicycling, canoing and skiing (would you believe 1,000 miles of XC trails) opportunities and a good and diverse music scene.Presently no Guzzi dealers in town; mine is one hour+ away. And I’d say you need to ride for a while to get to the good rides.
Nuthin. Even the threshermans reunion is held outside of town. It is the most boring town along Route 66.
Northwest Ct. Good, low traffic roads, no big cities. Appalachian trail, good fly fishing. Lots of places to kayak.
That said... the NW part of CT looks a lot more motorcycle friendly. Thanks for the tip!
Jiffy Mix and Jeff Daniels.
Meth labs and the Klan. (not Guzzi content)
Traverse City MichiganWorld's Cherry Capitol....National Cherry Festival...soon to evolve into the vineyard and Hops mecca of the Midwest
Great for outdoor activities as well with some beautiful country, nice roads, trails, sailing, fishing, etc... plus a lot of mountain bikes this weekend. I'm heading up tomorrow for the IceMan MB race this weekend... sponsored by Bell's Brewery. (the race is sponsored, not me.)
Leeds, Yorkshire. The city's best known for The Who's live album, the county for Wensleydale cheese and, once upon a time, Sheffield steel. And, as some know, The Last of the Summer Wine.
absolutely, I live on one of the finest trout streams in the state if not the Midwest. I raced the Iceman Cometh four years running about ten years ago...awesome race and fine single track. I'll be out on the coarse helping out this year giving aid to the injured...what's your entry number? best of luck!!!
