I had the FZ07.   Much happier with the V7III.   About to put $2000 in suspension because this is a long term bike.  Other than the motor the FZ07 was a pretender with budget everything.   Fake carbon fiber, fake ram air, crap chain adjuster, bouncy suspension.

Did the same suspension wise to my V7III.  Made a huge difference.

Nah...  V85 engines for everyone!!!

After the V85 engine is proven with its HP & Torque, and if they do stick this engine into a chassis similar to the V7, I know at least 5 other guys I hang out with will consider Guzzi as their biggest gripe is always the HP even tho it really isn't needed for the road.

But hey, you buy what pleases you...and for them are numbers.
Life isn't WHAT IS at the end.
It is HOW and WHAT you are doing to get there.

I have quite a few bikes, and my only Guzzi is a 2009 V7.

It is my first Guzzi. I will say that without a doubt, it is my favorite "easy" riding bike. Truly fantastic, a very capable machine for modest road work. I absolutely love it.

I cannot fathom the the negative views here. Whatever.

The Le Mans 1 is the holy grail.
Trying to recreate the looks on a lame V7 is really sad.

Since years the Guzzi community asks for a naked bike/cafe racer/roadster with more performance than a V7.
For me this pure incompetence.

And in 2017 they have even killed the Griso ... :thewife:

Without the "LAME" v7 , Guzzi probably wouldn't exist.

Only a lame , underpowered piece of shit V7ll with a fake scrambler makeover  not really worthy of a Guzzi badge but its mine and i love it!

I would have bought a Sportster Roadster 883 in 2013  if the lame V7 had not been there. And I don´t regret my choice.

It’s time for me to bung this photoshop picture into the mix.
80 hp or whatever V85 engine.
Styled like this.
I’m in.

What do you think.

Looks good, although I think it would be fitting to make the street bike a bit more "LeMans-esque" if retro is to be the theme. The photoshop has the bevel box and shock on the wrong side, BTW.
