Loads of Toy Runs in Texas
« on: December 01, 2018, 03:55:57 PM »
Go to the web site of Suds and Butterfly and check out the abundance of toy runs. Music by Rio Bravo.
We'll be at the Tyler Long Riders tomorrow. Look for the skinny kid wearing double kniit pants with a plastic pocket protector in his shirt. It ain't me!!

The Springfield, Mo. one is tomorrow. I'll be meeting a bunch of high school buddies @ Hooters pre-run. It's getting to be a tradition. Should have two Guzzi's in our posse this year <shrug>

When I first bought my T-3 it would start hard at times (turned out to be a bad coil). Anyway went to the Wichita toy run with it. When it was time to go the sea of H-Ds were starting up so I had no way to hear anything my bike was doing when I was trying to start it but after a bit I could feel the vibes and was able to go. At a later Wichita run I was at the very front right beside Santa who was on a Wing. While turning into the parking lot of the drop off place Santa dumped it. I did help right his sleigh.

As I ask my wife when I get home from any ride, "Guess how many Guzzi's I saw today?"
She just looks at me and says " One"

"I'll bet $5 I can tell you exactly where you got your shoes."   "You're on!"

"Right here on Beale Street .... "

The old ones are always the best ....

"Hard pounding, this, gentlemen; let's see who pounds the longest".
