A week with my new OSMO Pocket wasn't as productive as I wanted but in my opinion it is great camera to have. It will not replace GoPro Heros when going for MTB ride on single track but for anything else is very good option. Easy to operate, it start up in less than 5 seconds and is ready to record. The display is very tiny I have the problem to see even with my reading glasses on (I may need new reading glasses) but touch screen work very good.
One has to have smart phone with Apple lighting connection or phone with USB-C port, smart phones with Micro USB won't work when activating OP. Once OP is activated any smart phone can be used to control OP by wireless connection. DJI didn't release any accessories yet, rumors are they will be available in mid of January, 2019. For this reason wireless connection is not available at this moment. There are number of features which were removed from release version of firmware so when you look at DJI website not all which is listed are currently available. If you are interested in more details such reviews, footage/photo samples, problems different people reported please check DJI forums:https://forum.dji.com/forum.php?mod=forumdisplay&fid=91&filter=typeid&typeid=549
This may be of interest for Canadian, when ordering directly from DJI you can save some $$. I purchased OP and additional insurance (OP Shield) on line from DJI Store https://store.dji.com/product/osmo-pocket?from=menu_products&vid=48141
and saved approx. $75.00 (CAD), free shipping and I didn't pay any duty or taxes (all included).
