That's about $4 a mile in depreciation, if it makes the asking price.

I gotta say the look is growing on me...  The big front tire is becoming a thing...  I dont really care for it, but at least it has a fender...   I really dont care for the "maxipad" seat though....

Cadre Cycle in Cincinnati is selling 2017 Roamers for $6,300 and Bobbers for $6,500.  Ya gotta add $550 freight and $50 doc fee to that.  Plus whatever sales tax, license.

If that salvage bike could be had cheaply enough, it could be an engine donor/upgrade  for a V7.

I wonder if it would be a bolt in for my Mk1 V7R?

In Indiana, you have to hire an agent before you can even bid.. and they won't ship to Indiana..
There are certainly a lot of good small block parts there.

Really?  Just chop off the DOT required rear fender / license plate holder and it is as much a bobber as the original bobber bikes.

I started picking the sticker off my carbon while it was still in the showroom and the owner was freaking out!  He acted like you should never remove those stickers.  LOL!  Started telling me if I screw up the finish it will not be covered under warranty, and other such BS.

That would have resulted in a serious STFU moment.

The dealer in Accident apologized to me for the TWO stickers that were on it (I found other stickers in the bag with the owner's manual that had not been applied GOD BLESS HIS SOUL).

When I bought my R100RS the first thing I did was remove all the stickers. That meant removing a lot of the graphics. BMWophiles were aghast as to why I did that. I felt that the Pear White paint job on the bike was so beautiful that the stickers ruined it. If the graphics hand been painted on that would have been different. I hate stickers on paint.....just a pet peeve of mine.

Decals under clearcoat are my pet peeve. I know... I know... it's everywhere. Still hate it with a passion.

I agree with removing stickers from the tank on new bikes.  I feel differently when the bike reaches a certain age, say 30-40 years old.  Survivor stickers?
I like the tank sticker one on my '76 Convert.

They say it runs and rides.   I don't have time for projects but this one looks doable if you just want to fix it enough to ride it.  If you want it cosmetically perfect you better score it for a grand, no more.

They want too much for the bike.

I'm going to check it out, a custom may sell. If it goes $1K it's doable. Flat Tracker sounds good.

Crashed V9 is up over$600 now, there is also a reserve on it that wasn't there before. Poor little thing going to be crushed.

$825.

It is also wrongly listed as a Bobber, when it is a Roamer.

And a new Griso can be bought for only $ 9,000 out the door at Extreme Power Sports in MD. How much dealer profit can be left on two year old inventory?
