I am having the hardest time finding any California Guzzi's for sale in Washington State
must be a Global shortage of them
There is one at Empire Cycle on consignment  trying to get a hold of the guy to negotiate on the price some.
anyway thats my rant. its winter, no scoot in my garage.   bumming me out
I did indeed forget to put the years I really like 2000-2002 old school 2V heads
A Bassa ,EV Sport prefer tubeless
My Norge was killing my knees   so back to a California for me
thanks all sorry i did not put   the desired models

I'm guessing he's looking for the California 1400.  Might try using a global search like this:

Here's one at the Portland dealership:
https://boise.craigslist.org/mcd/d/portland-2015-moto-guzzi-california/6809166226.html

Note: although I found the ad indicating Boise, it's at the PDX location.

Find David Pazar,  he got suspended for political insurrection but is Rodekyll . He had a new one for sale.  Maybe check with Tex to find him.

alas, but no. The OP seeks the venerable and oft maligned, yet highly sought after "Whale Dork" iteration of the model.

deep down...y'all know you want one.

that's a Convert, for the record.

the svelte lines of the 89-2009 Tonti California's gas tank has been (favorably??) compared by many to the aforementioned aquatic phallus. Is that due to it's shape? Or the fact that it's host is oft considered on the verge of extinction...I can't quite say.

can we change the subject?

There seems to a few nice examples of the 2000-2003 lineage here in the heartland. Perhaps a fly and ride is in order? I'd agree that if Rodekyll's got one that makes the most sense for you...he's got roots in the Sound, was headed there last I talked to him.

I won't argue about the Victory...

But I think there is still confusion on the other...

The 'whale dork' is the CALIFORNIA tank. a la

The Convert and the Griso were just thrown in there for contrast. Didn't mean to confuse the issue.

To the OP, you watching this similar thread?

To the OP. FWIW, out of the 18  Guzzis I've now kept for the next owner, only one was from Indiana. You are probably going to have to travel to get what you want.

I am coming to that conclusion.   Probably a rode trip in my future to much snow in the passes to do a Fly and Ride.
If i have patience, I am sure one will pop up soon.

Yeah, that's the problem. I looked for a Lario for a really long time. Finally one showed up in Florida. (!) It was kind of a beater, but it was a Lario. Dan from Florida brought it to the Virginia nationals, and I picked it up there. Even that was a 20 hour round trip.
Naturally, within a month, another that was *just* what I had been looking for showed up..and I've seen a few since.  Really, a Cali should be easy in comparison.

That's a find! outsider, national bags and tubeless rims if I'm not mistaken, and only 2500 miles. Price on the high side but arguably valid, considering.
