a 27mm is sloppy and i have nothing that will fit it. now im going to make a trip into town to get one, once i know what size fits it!
-
Until someone comes along who knows... do you have a caliper handy?
-
no i sure dont. its a thing i need. i went through every wrench and socket i had.
-
this is what i found

-
Good, now you can take the nut to the tool store. :)
-
I just checked one of those nuts in my garage.. yep, 27mm but mine was a little sloppy too.. I don't think it will be a problem with that little slop use a rattle gun..
-
yeah im good. i wish i could change it to a tach but it is all good, i aint racing. yet...lol
:bike-037: :copcar:

I was going to suggest the nut is a 46 long, but 27 mm is more accurate.
-
A 6 point heavy socket would be my choice when a socket is a little loose.
-
thats what i used. i have a tool fetish. always something i need or want lol

The partslist states 18mm nut for camshaft.
Crankshaft has 25mm nut.

is that a small block? all the 1100 motors I've seen had 32mm crank nut.

That is the shaft size, not the size for a socket.

Well my 26 mm did not fit, on 2different cam nuts I had in my hand last night, they were 27mm
-
1 1/16 ?
-
The 1 1/16 is a nice fit, and the one I reach for for this job.
